Ambaji Temple is one of the most revered Shakti Peethas in India, located in the Banaskantha district of Gujarat, near the Gujarat–Rajasthan border. It is dedicated to Goddess Amba (Ambe Maa) and is considered a major pilgrimage site for devotees of Shakti.

🌺 Mythological Significance

Ambaji is believed to be one of the 51 Shakti Peethas, where body parts of Goddess Sati fell when Lord Shiva carried her after the Daksha Yagna.

According to sacred texts, the heart of Goddess Sati fell at this very spot.

The temple’s main deity is worshipped as Shree Arasuri Amba Maa.
